Plans unveiled for big resort near Prescott

A Phoenix developer has unveiled plans for a large resort in Yavapai County by 2014. ABM Development Services President Gregory Arrington says the resort would be built near Poland Junction, between Mayer and Dewey-Humboldt, at an estimated cost of about $80 million. Arrington tells The Daily Courier that plans calls for a 250-room hotel, a championship golf course, a variety of pools, custom homes, condos and casitas along with restaurants and shops. Arrington says the resort plans to employ about 200 people during construction, 500 when the development is operational, and about 750 during peak seasons in the spring and fall.
