Luxury apartment complex planned for Chandler

Butte Cos., which built the Landmark at Kierland luxury condos, is investing $35 million in a 10-acre mixed use project proposed in Chandler. The Scottsdale-based developer will build 222 luxury apartment units on McClintock Drive north of Chandler Boulevard. The company also will develop a Wi-Fi coffee house and wine bar, a dog park and putting green on site. The project currently is in the city rezoning and design review process with a projected ground breaking in October. Todd & Associates in Phoenix is the architect. Lawrence Lake Interiors in Scottsdale is handling the interior design. MT Builders in Scottsdale is the contractor.
