300 acres of Mesa farmland sold

A San Diego-based limited partnership has purchased more than 300 acres of farmland at the southeast corner of Pecos and Ellsworth roads in Mesa, just south of Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, a broker involved in the transaction said Monday. The buyer, Buckeye Casa Grande L.P., paid just over $9 million for the land, which has commercial and industrial zoning in place for future development and is within the Williams Trade Zone. The Phoenix office of Cassidy Turley BRE Commercial LLC represented the buyer. Scottsdale-based Nathan & Associates represented the seller, Enterprise Bank and Trust, of St. Louis.
