Curis receives $40 million loan to start Florence mine project

Curis Resources Inc. officials last week announced the company has reached a final agreement on key terms of a $40 million loan to advance the first phase of its copper mining project near Florence. The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company plans to mine a 3 billion-pound copper deposit about 400 feet below the Earth’s surface during the estimated 10-year life of the project.
