17 MSA's Added to NAHB Housing Improvement List in May

The National Association of Home Builders added 17 cities to its Improving Markets Index in May, including Phoenix. The NAHB list shows Metropolitan Statistical Areas that have shown improvement from their respective troughs in housing permits, employment and house prices for at least six consecutive months, and is released monthly. In May, there were 100 total cities on the list, down from 101 in April. Here's a look at the 17 diverse areas from around the country added to the list in May:
