MATTAMY HOMES BUILDING 42-LOT SUBDIVISION AT MARLEY PARK

Mattamy Homes plans to build 42 homes within the Marley Park community in Surprise. The builder paid $735,000 to purchase the finished lots. The seller was a Marley Park Properties LLC in Scottsdale, a company formed by numerous investors, including Donald L. Meyers. The cash transaction was brokered through Kevin Hogan and Jeff Beach of The Hogan Group in Scottsdale. Marley Park is located south of the southwest corner of Waddell Road and Bullard Avenue. Of the lots, 20 average 4,950 sq. ft (45x110) and 22 average 3,850 sq. ft. (35x110). Mattamy Homes plans to build residences ranging from 1,700 sq. ft. to 2,350 sq. ft. The three- and four-bedroom units are expected to be priced from the $150,000's. Models scheduled to open in December. Carolyn Morrison of Mattamy Homes in Tempe says the company is looking for additional residential land in the Phoenix area. Mattamy Homes is owned by Peter Gilgan, of Oakville, Ontario, Canada.
