Sunbelt Holdings buying SunCor real estate assets

Sunbelt Holdings is buying SunCor Development’s real estate portfolio including commercial land at Hayden Ferry Lakeside in Tempe, the Sanctuary Golf Course in Scottsdale and land at the expansive Palm Valley development in Goodyear and Avondale. All told, Scottsdale-based Sunbelt will acquire 1,900 acres of commercial and industrial land, a 440,000-square-foot industrial building, a 2,500-space parking garage, a commercial building and office condominiums as well as two 18-hole golf courses. Sunbelt also is buying the SunRidge Canyon Golf Course in Fountain Hills from SunCor. Price for the transactions was not disclosed Thursday.
