MATTAMY HOMES BUILDING 58-LOT SUBDIVISION AT CANYON TRAILS IN GOODYEAR

Goodyear – Mattamy Homes LLC in Tempe plans to build 58 residences within the Canyon Trails community at the southeast corner of Cotton Lane and Yuma Road in Goodyear. The builder paid $1.856 million to purchase the finished lots. The seller was RBC Real Estate Finance Inc., a company formed by RBC Builder Finance in Houston, Tex. The cash sale was brokered through Kevin Hogan, Jeff Beach and James Hotis of The Hogan Group in Scottsdale. The lots average 5,500 sq. ft. (50x110). Mattamy intends to construct homes ranging from 1,483 sq. ft. to 2,500 sq. ft. Three-, four- and five-bedroom units to be priced from the $130,000's to the $160,000's. Models scheduled to open by year-end. Build out expected to take 18 months. The seller foreclosed on the previous owner. Sienna Homes completed models and two homes before the subdivision stalled. Mattamy Homes is headquartered in Winter Park, Fla. and has multiple divisions in the U.S. The company is the largest builder in Canada.
