American Solar, Elliott Homes partner in Yuma

American Solar Electric and Elliott Homes are partnering on solar systems for new homes in several Yuma subdivisions. The systems will be standard features on homes in Sunset Terrace, Araby Crossing, Estrella and Arroyo de Fortuna subdivisions. They will have either 2.52 kilowatts or 2.75 kilowatts of capacity, which would save an esitmated $595 to $645 per year. “Understanding that today’s buyer does not want to sacrifice quality, yet wants to save money more than ever, we are using the finest quality and energy saving materials and products on the market in the construction of our homes. Today, we are pleased to announce that we have added American Solar Electric systems — not as an add-on, but included at no extra cost in every Elliott home,” said Harry C. Elliott III, president and CEO of Elliott Homes, in a statement.
