Mixed views at Urban Land Institute economic forum

Some 700 people packed into a ballroom Thursday at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown to hear real estate experts opine about the future of the economy. The occasion was the Urban Land Institute Arizona’s annual Trends Day. If there was a consensus among the mix of local and national real estate experts, it was that there is no consensus. Some of the experts are optimistic that things are changing, while many others remain wary. Some believe that surely and steadily the economy will improve, while others worry about the threat of inflation and negative global influences.
