International commerce center coming to Casa Grande
The Central Arizona Regional Center (CAzRC) has recently completed the required economic evaluation to move forward with its plans for a regional retail center in Casa Grande. When completed, Phoenix Mart will be the biggest international commerce and distribution center in the region, occupying an area of over 2,165,300 square feet.
A regional retail center like this is on its way to Casa Grande.
CAzRC is part of AZ Sourcing LLC, is an Arizona-based company specializing in real estate development, shopping center management and international trade and communications.
Phoenix Mart is part of a project designed to help the United States benefit from the same business model that Dragon Mart and “YiWu” represented as economic drivers in Dubai and China.
Part of the USCIS Regional Center plan to encourage foreign investment, Phoenix Mart will allow international investors to obtain residency in the United States. Phoenix Mart will create nearly 8,000 new employment opportunities, which is more than double the requirement for such operations.
Phoenix Mart will be located two miles from the Casa Grande City Hall and also Interstate Highway 10, which spans the entire width of the United States, connecting California to Florida. Interstate 8, Highway 84 and a railroad station add to the location’s convenient and high traffic qualities. On top of that, it is also near Casa Grande’s Central Business District and Wal-Mart Corporation’s distribution center for the Southwest United States.
